PFC Presidents Monthly Letter

Welcome to the 2009-2010 school year.  We are your new PFC Co-Presidents and are not only very excited about our new board position, but we are also looking forward to an incredible year with the new opportunities as well as new challenges ahead. For those of you that do not know us, we each have three daughters and by the time June 2014 rolls around, all six of them will have completed their elementary education here at White Oak Elementary School and we couldn't be happier with our choice of an elementary school for them. As we look toward this school year, we understand the various difficulties and challenges each of us are facing in this tenuous economy and with our state's budget cuts to education.  With that in mind, we simply ask that each individual "give" what is within their means and capabilities.  Simply put, if you are able to contribute to direct donation, we are immensely grateful for any amount you give.  Every dollar donated goes directly to ensure our children continue to enjoy an exemplary enriched education here at White Oak.  Additionally, we would be more than happy to have you as a volunteer, whether it be as a committee chair, serve on one of our various committees and/or volunteer in your child's classroom.  Every positive, generous act you make leaves an indelible mark on your child's experience here at White Oak and impacts our school community in the best way.  These elementary school years fly by and we encourage you to take advantage of this amazing time in your child's life and become involved to help shape the experience your child will have here at White Oak.
