Dear White Oak Families,

Welcome to White Oak Elementary School! My name is Laila Jorns, and I am thrilled to serve as your principal. This year holds special meaning for me as I return "home" to the school where my journey in education truly began. White Oak is where I first taught, where I previously served as principal, and now, I have the honor of coming back to lead this incredible community once again. White Oak has always been a place where students, families, and staff come together to create something truly special, and I am excited to continue that tradition with all of you.

At White Oak, our Lions ROAR - we are Respectful, Optimistic, Accountable, and Resourceful. These values guide everything we do and help create a school culture where every child can thrive. We are deeply committed to academic excellence within an encouraging, caring, and safe environment. Our dedicated team works each day to meet every student where they are and help them reach their fullest potential, both academically, socially, and emotionally.

I believe that strong partnerships between school and home are essential to student success. Our parent community is one of our greatest strengths, and I encourage you to get involved, stay
